MALMSBURY VILLAGE FAYRE Local Producers and Winemakers 2011 APPLICATION AND INFORMATION FOR STALL HOLDERS
You are invited to participate in the Malmsbury Village Fayre on Sunday 20 November 2011. Objectives of the Fayre:
- Showcasing the local fine wines, local food and musicians of this area.
- Assisting local producers to promote their food and wine.
- Promoting Malmsbury and surrounds, local artisans, community and history.
INFORMATION FOR STALL HOLDERS Permits and other requirements: Stall holders selling food and/or beverages must:
- apply for a food handling certificate and permit from the Macedon Ranges Shire Council Go to http://www.macedon-ranges.vic.gov.au/Page/Page.asp?Page.Id=272&h=-1 or for more information call the Environmental Health Unit on 03 5422 0333.
- have own product liability insurance.
- liquor licence for wineries and beer producers.
All stall holders are asked to have these items with them on the day of the Fayre.
When is it and setting up: Sunday 20 November 2011 from 10 am – 4 pm. You may start setting up from 7 am onwards to be ready by 9.30 am. Please remain until the finish time.
Venue: Malmsbury Botanic Gardens and Town Hall, Mollison St Malmsbury 3446.
Parking: Participants must not drive their vehicles into the gardens. Please offload/load from the street and then park your car away from the venue eg further down Ellesmere Place.
Rubbish: keep the gardens and town hall as tidy as possible. Please place rubbish in bins provided and recyclables in recycle bin or take home.
SITE FEE is $50 for a regular (3M X3 M) site (or one table length inside town hall If you pay by cash make arrangements first with Nea or Ron. Cheques are to be made payable to LACSACGA. Send to: The Secretary, LACSACGA, PO Box 95, Malmsbury, 3446. If you send the application by 21 September your business can be included on the Fayre website. See page 3.
Promotion: advertising is wide spread in central Victoria including Melbourne. If you require brochures for distribution then please give us a call.
Reduce Carbon footprint: Malmsbury railway station (Bendigo/Swan Hill line) is 5 minutes from the gardens. Train travel, bike riding or walking is encouraged as are recycling and rubbish removal. Stallholders are encouraged to use practices kind to the environment.
Donations for prizes: We ask if you will contribute some of your product for prizes.
